Witness to History Videoconference Program
Pearl Harbor Survivor Series

Invite a Pearl Harbor Survivor into Your Classroom

The Pearl Harbor Survivor Series personalizes history. As Survivors tell their firsthand accounts of December 7, 1941, textbook facts acquire meaning and relevance for today’s students. Participating Survivors include veterans of the U.S. Navy, Army, and Army AirCorps as well as civilians.

Pearl Harbor Survivors actively participate to the fullest extent possible but their availability is understandably limited. Schools are advised to contact the video conference coordinator to check available dates and times.

Personal stories are followed by a Q & A session that links present and past, making students true witnesses to history.
